The Cele River runs across a peaceful, lush and deep valley, a real paradise inhabited by men since the origins as the great number of prehistoric remains and drawings let in the limestone cliff caves witness.
This is the ideal place for quiet holidays where villages, hamlets, mills and rivers as well as vineyards, sunflowers or corn fields invite you to stroll. This walking trip combines footpath along the river with tracks climbing up on the Causses offering splendid surrounding views.
Espagnac-Ste Eulalie built around a priory that shelters a strange church on top of which is a perched pyramidal roof half timbered square tower.
Marcilhac-sur-Cele attends to its inhabitants since prehistoric time and is set up around its roman abbey radiating its strength and austere beauty.
